Is this a cabernet or some other kind of red wine? I looked around and it kept saying it was a "proprietary" wine. I don't know what that means. Thanks.

Thanks for the question, Flanders. Yes, this is predominantly Cabernet. It's 78% Cabernet Sauvignon and then is blended with 20% Merlot and 2% Malbec. This makes it a Bordeaux blend. While this vintage surpasses the 75% requirement in California to label it a Cabernet, this isn't always the case. Therefore, they call it a proprietary wine to give them the ability to make a Bordeaux style wine with different percentages of Cabernet. Hope that helps!

Dry Creek has always been a favorite stop on the wine tours when we get to California - glad to see that you guys were able to grab a few of these. I tasted it when I was in the tasting room a couple months ago and it blew me away.
