Okay, so we don't, but we do spend time in caves tasting wines from friends and folks that we have come to know over the years as well as with great partners that distribute some of the best wines on the planet. While there is no getting around the fact that wine can be expensive, there are some ways around them being too expensive to enjoy and try. There are more than a few (thousand) wines sold in the U.S. and they all don't get the love and attention they deserve - it can just be too tough to stand out in a crowd (think High School). We take those wines and give them the fifteen minutes of fame they deserve and we get rewarded for doing so with some great pricing. I'm Thirsty...How Long Will It Take To Get My Wine?

Aside from having your wine flown by a special operative helicopter to get you for tonight's dinner, we make every attempt to get it there as fast as possible. We ship all packages ground shipping unless you ask us to do otherwise. This takes anywhere from a couple of days to a week to make it there. Add in the time to get your wine cozy for the trip and it usually takes anywhere from 2-10 days to get to you.

Why Do You Guys Donate Water?

Frankly, there are a lot of folks in the world that are thirsty and deserve the chance to have clean water to keep themselves and their loved on healthy.

Can I Donate More Water?

Absolutely! We work closely with the wineries and suppliers of the wines we feature on CellarThief. They are excited to feature their wines on our site and we are excited about selling their wines while also making a bit of a difference. Can I Send Wine as a Gift

Yes, and you should! Wine makes for a great gift because folks love it when they get the gift and love it even more when they just polished the gift off on a random Tuesday night after a terrible day "working for the man". Just think of all the joy you can bring. But, do make sure the person you are buying for is over 21 and will be there to sign for it when it arrives.

What If I'm Not Around When My Wine Arrives?

Great question. Aside from offering "what's really more important than sitting around waiting for your shipment from CellarThief", we will say that it's best to ship to a business address. We have found that this is the most sure-fire way to get your wine when the FedEx truck pulls up. Remember, there must be somebody over 21 to sign for your delivery. This may take sneaking a bottle or two to your receptionist for keeping it quiet that you are getting a box of wine delivered every day, but there could be worse people to give some great wines to.

What If the Wine is Plunk?

If you open the wine and it tastes like Plunk it may just be plunk or it may need some time to "open up". So, give it a few minutes in the glass and try it again - it may have shed it's shyness by then. If, though, the wine isn't shy it's shot (smells like moldy cardboard or your high school gym socks), let us know and we'll get you a fresh, shiny new one.
