This what you call "sheer joy".  Rosé from the region known as the largest dry rosé specialist, our Sourcing Team was overheard asking, “Can an Estate’s entry-level wine really taste this good?” The answer is an astounding yes!

Reasons We Love It:

  • Big-time pedigree. Brun Estate is a charming second label to Château de Brigue.
  • Classic Provence. We must admit Provencal Rose is one of our rising faves. Delightful qualities that are fresh, crisp, bright and dry span the classic palate of Cotes de Provence.
  • Quality control. Out of a superb 2015 growing season, this rose was produced at a gold standard that meets the ultimate food-friendly test. Quality control credit is given to Frederic Brun, one of the third generation brothers helping to carry on the family’s winemaking traditions.
  • Ideal Mediterranean conditions. Happy vines exposed to approximately 3,000 hours of annual sunshine create virtually worry-free harvests year after year. It’s this south-eastern mild climate where rose quality and quantity seamlessly overlap.

An irresistible pink! Charming, refreshing, refined, and with plenty of juicy, enticing, strawberry and berry fruit. This is a rosé that should be in everyone’s cellars, without exception. Drinkable is an understatement and you’ll keep on coming back for seconds.

The vineyard domain Chateau Brigue started in 1970 as a family venture. Following the founder Roger Brun's steps, his son Fernand developed the domain and today, the third generation winemakers and brothers Jean-Michel, Christian, Olivier and Frederic Brun carry on the tradition in the family owned estate of winery, vineyards and olive groves.

Great with almost any food, from sushi to salmon to BBQ!

Wine Reviews

"One of a series of entry-level wines from this estate, this is soft, only lightly fruity and rounded at the end. It has a lively, bright aftertaste." - Wine Enthusiast

"Pale peach skin. Aromas of fresh tangerine and strawberry, and a floral nuance that builds in the glass. Silky and focused on the palate, offering tangy red berry and bitter orange pith flavors that unfold slowly on the back half. A white pepper note adds bite to the taut finish, which lingers with good persistence." - Vinous

"Saline, strawberries and cream; fantastic acid presence in this wine. Easy drinking provence rose, elements of salted berries and cream confirmed on the palate, nice minerality on the finish. Drink all Summer long." -WB 6/17
